In Gods Unchained, building a card collection is a crucial aspect of the game. Every player starts with the Welcome Set, which includes 70 individual cards spanning all six gods. However, in order to expand the collection and build more powerful decks, players must acquire more cards.

There are several ways to acquire more cards in Gods Unchained. One of the most straightforward ways is by playing the game and leveling up. As players play Ranked or Constructed games, they will earn card packs that contain Common Core cards.

Prometheus was a Titan who stole fire from Mount Olympus and gave it to humanity, enabling the development of civilization.

These cards can be used to expand the decks or fused together to create higher quality, tradable versions in the Forge. Another way to acquire cards is by participating in Weekend Ranked events. These tournaments offer card packs and items as rewards, which can be a great way to earn items that aren’t usually unlocked through conventional means, such as expansion card packs.

Additionally, players can purchase expansion packs, which are only available for purchase for a limited time during each season. Once these packs are sold out, the best way to acquire them is by trading with other players on the Immutable X Marketplace.

The Immutable X Marketplace is also a great place to buy and sell individual cards and items. Here players can find the specific cards they’re looking for, or sell ones they don’t need.

Types of Card Sets

When it comes to building a deck, players can include up to 30 cards. With the exception of Legendary cards, which can only be included one per deck, players can include up to two copies of the same card.

In terms of card sets, the game offers several different types, including expansion sets, free-to-play sets, and promotional sets. Expansion cards, such as those from the Trial of the Gods and Divine Order sets, are NFT cards that are sold as part of a season.

Once these cards have passed through the Balancing Phase, they have their utility locked, keeping the same stats and abilities for good. With the exception of the Genesis set, expansion cards may be reproduced at a future date but with each reproduction having noticeable differences – keeping the original set release unique and unchanged.

On the other hand, Free-to-Play cards are unlocked by playing the game and available all year round. They are “open” sets, in that they can be balanced on the fly. These start in-game as off-chain plain cards, but can be fused into or purchased from places like the Star Store as NFTs.

Finally, Promo cards are cards that have had a short release, such as the Dogs Unchained card. They are NFT cards that act the same way as an expansion card would.

Building a Winning Deck: Tips and Tricks

In Gods Unchained, decks are the key to victory. They consist of 30 cards assembled before the battle, representing your playstyle. When starting out, creating a custom deck can be challenging, which is why the 6 starter deck options are helpful.

Cards are made up of many parts, including the domain, tribe, and set. The domain of a card is located on the top left-hand side, outlining which god the card is aligned to. There are six domains: War, Light, Nature, Deception, Magic, and Death.

Neutral cards can be used in any deck. The tribe of a card is located at the bottom of the card and shows what faction the card belongs to. Card sets are collections of cards grouped by an event or a theme, and can be identified by the symbol on the top right of a card.

There are three types of cards in Gods Unchained: Creature Cards, Spell Cards, and Equipment Cards. Creature cards can be placed on the board and used to attack the opponent’s creatures or their god.

Spell cards are used to target the opponent’s creatures, their god, or the opponent’s hand. Equipment cards can be equipped to creatures to increase their stats or give them special abilities.

When creating a deck, it’s important to find the right balance between the different types of cards and to choose the god and domain that best suits your playstyle.

As you gain more experience and acquire more cards, you’ll be able to experiment with different combinations and strategies to improve your deck and increase your chances of victory.
