SHARI
SHARI is the result of four years of work by mera takeru, an established figure in the Japanese cryptoart scene. According to takeru, “SHARI” is a Japanese word that refers to “cooked white rice and remains of Buddha.”
The collection includes 444 one-of-a-kind animated GIFs, each featuring a rice skull in one of seven colors and set against one of 66 unique artistic backgrounds.
The flashing lights in the GIFs are symbolic of the digital world’s continuous cycle of “life and death,” as well as the persistence of the blockchain’s binary code. As takeru notes, “0 and 1 are infinitely repeated on the blockchain, creating an unchanging and eternal world.”
Collection and Mint Details
The pre-sale is set to take place on February 27, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. (UTC), followed by the public sale at 5:00 p.m. (UTC) on the same day.
The total supply of SHARI NFTs is limited to 444, making it a highly exclusive collection. The pre-sale price of each SHARI is set at 0.0444 Ξ, while the public sale price will be 0.0888 Ξ. During the pre-sale period, there is a limit of 1 SHARI per wallet.
It is worth noting that SHARI has a unique feature of not having a reveal. Once you mint your NFT, you will immediately see the image of your SHARI. Additionally, all SHARI NFTs are equally valuable as there is no rarity system in place.
This ensures that each NFT holds the same value, regardless of its design or background. Takeru believes that this feature will add to the inclusivity of the collection and encourage a sense of community among SHARI owners.
